NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - It’s no secret that Lonzo Ball, still on his rookie contract, was a sought-after guard ahead of last week’s trade deadline.
“It was definitely on my mind,” says Ball. “I was prepared for anything. I know a lot of people were calling.”

DECATUR â A new gaga ball pit at South Shores School is dedicated to the memory of Ryan Mullinix, who died in 2016 at the age of 22.
Ryan was an Eagle Scout and his brother, Scott, built the gaga ball pit as his own Eagle Scout project. Because the Eagle Project must be a service to the community, Scott wanted to place it in a park or at a school for children to enjoy, and chose South Shores School because both Scott and Ryan attended there.

A Napier dog owner has stopped the ball envy at her local hangout, Riverside Park, by placing a box of balls at the entrance for dogs and their humans to play with.
People have now gotten in on the act of charity by adding dog toys to the box as well.

Firefighters in Delton, Wisconsin responded to a fire last Monday after someone came home and found their entire living room engulfed.
And it turned out the fire was started by a CRYSTAL BALL.
They had a crystal ball sitting out on a table, right next to a big window. And when the sun hit the crystal, it created a HEAT RAY that set their couch on fire.
Firefighters were able to put the fire out before the entire house went up, so it wasn t a total loss. But it was still significant.
They estimated the damage at around $250,000.
